Crossroads is a growing and dynamic multi-campus church located in Pittsburgh, and is seeking a passionate and creative worship arts director for student ministry at the North Fayette campus.
The student ministry of Crossroads is focused on reaching students for Christ. This person ought to be a follower of Jesus and lives out Passion for God, Love for one another, and Love for a broken world. He/she also lives out the mission to
make disciples who make disciples.
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated leader who likes the excitement and challenge of leading and serving in student ministry. Crossroads seeks to hire leaders who multiply leaders and develop Jesus followers into disciplemakers and leaders.
Primarily, the worship arts director will work under the direction of the student ministry pastor.
· Developing and training and equipping student musicians.
· Organizing and leading regular worship band rehearsals.
· Preparing worship song sets and leading a worship team in a weekly worship service.
· Assisting in developing creative worship elements.

a.) Servant Leadership. The ability to recruit and develop both new and experienced musicians.
b.) Organization. The ability to accomplish tasks, meet deadlines, take ownership of a project, and always looking to improve the ministry’s structure, system, and programming to maximize the effectiveness of disciple-making.
c.) Responsible. The ability to follow instruction, listen to coaching, work with a team, communicate clearly, and is dependable to accomplish a project.
d.) Music skills. Able to play either keyboard or guitar. Able to read and to transpose music. Able to teach musicians how to play songs and play instruments. Able to lead worshipers in passionate worship through song and train other leaders
to do the same.
e.) Competency - the ability to perform at well at the organization level of Crossroads Church.
f.) Capacity - The ability to grow with the organization.
g.) Cognition - The ability to clearly think and process concepts with a team.
h.) Communication - The ability to clearly share ideas, information, and expectations with co-workers, supervisor, and volunteers.
i.) Chemistry - The ability to connect and relate with teammates socially and relationally.
j.) Creativity - The ability and/or skill in something. Able to innovate in area of leadership. Able to initiate creative solutions to problems and obstacles. Someone who says “We will find a way” vs. “It can’t happen.”
