We’re not just another church throwing out a line to catch the next fish. We are looking for the person Christ is calling to Crestview. Crestview is located in Midland, Texas and our city as well as our church has been exploding the last few years. This has allowed Crestview to reach people who have never heard the Gospel. We are having people come to faith because they are experiencing life change through Jesus Christ. 


We are looking for someone who wants to be apart of the work of Christ, in sharing hope with the students in Midland. I'm the Student Pastor here and am looking for the next addition to our team! Maybe God is calling you here to be a part to His amazing work.





Title:  Associate Student Minister

Position Description

The Associate Student Minister will serve as a leader, alongside and under the Student Pastor, working within the vision for the overall growth of the student ministry through discipleship.  The Associate Student Minister will seek to creatively implement that vision in a way that is relevant and effective for the student population.


The Associate Student Minister should have at least 2 years of experience.



Roles and Responsibilities

The effective Associate Student Minister will creatively design services to provide opportunities for students to come to know Christ, as well as build systems to address growth and make disciples.  


The Associate Student Minister will participate in the following:


Organize and maintain curriculum. 

Lead/teach large group time.

Communicate and train volunteer workers.

Manage recruitment of volunteer workers.

Be involved in schools and student sports teams and/or any student 

extracurricular activity.

Organize and lead student leadership training

Organize and participate in events such as Camps, Retreats, Lock-ins…etc.

Develop a good relationship with students and their parents/guardians and be able to communicate with authenticity, authority, passion, and effectiveness.




The successful candidate will show a proven experience in leadership, creative thinking and problem solving.  They will also need a strong work history in communication with students, families and volunteers.  In sum, the successful candidate will be ready to go, to “plug and play”, from day one on the job.  The successful Associate Student Minister will show competency in many areas, but these will stand out:


A passion for student ministry.

A technically savvy knowledge in order to connect with students where they are.

Reliability in the execution of a plan, and dependability to deliver the goals and expectations asked. 

The ability to work with senior leadership to implement vision and strategies that move the church toward a desired future of having people experience life change though Jesus Christ.
