First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas is looking for a Minister to Youth who will oversee the ministry to our middle and high school students and their families.
We are looking for an experienced leader of a growing student ministry who is passionate about Jesus Christ and the glory of God. The qualified candidate is a man who has learned how to focus his passion for Christ toward a vital equipping ministry for
Christ’s Bride, the church. He will be biblically sound in his doctrine, creative in his leadership and vision casting, and compassionate in his outreach. He will be an effective communicator in teaching, writing, and the use of social media. Though we
are looking for someone who is deeply relational it is important that this candidate be well organized and disciplined as he will be planning mission trips, service opportunities, and events while infusing a plan for joyful discipleship. As a servant-leader
with major influence he will practice the holy habits that lead to high integrity, built in “protections” for a Christ-like character, and intimacy with Jesus.
As part of the ministry staff, the Minister to Youth will assist in teaching, preaching, community outreach, mission projects/trips, visitation, ministry of prayer, and other ministry opportunities delegated to him. He will report directly to the Executive
Pastor for Equipping and will be a significant influencer in the ministry direction of First Baptist Belton.
The mission of First Baptist Belton is to know Jesus intimately, serve Jesus passionately, and share Jesus globally. If this opportunity interests you please send a cover letter and resume to Karen Padgett, Administrative Assistant to the Executive Pastor
for Equipping at: Karen.firstname.lastname@example.org
