Job Title:                    Assistant Director of Women

Department                Honor Academy Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

Report To:                  Director of the Honor Academy & Director of Women




The main objective for this role is to assist the Director of Women and to execute various facets of the Women’s Program including but not limited to: Women’s classes and curriculum (core women’s class (Risen), women’s small group inner healing class (Growth Groups), monthly women’s breakfast/activity (Rise and Shine Breakfasts), Graduate Intern Accountability (various GI programs), etc.), oversight and management of the Dorm Manager women, and management of the disciplinary process for Undergraduate (UG) and Graduate  (GI) women.  The Assistant Director of Women will lead the spiritual formation of the UG women, GI women, and Dorm Manager Women through providing spiritual insight, mentorship, and accountability.  The Assistant Director of Women will ensure that each woman on campus is healed, consecrated, empowered, and equipped by tracking the success of mentor meetings, the women’s classes and curriculum, and the overall retention rate as seen on the Dorm Manager Women’s weekly reports.

Women’s Discipline Processes

  • Oversees facilitation of all UG and GI Women Honor Council Cases and discipline procedures
  • Ensures the quality of all necessary discipline for the women
  • Recommends for placing participants on a probationary period or referring participants out of the Honor Academy program to the Director of the HA concerning disciplinary situations
  • Acts as a liaison for Teen Mania staff and parents to contact regarding any concerns with UG and GI women undergoing the discipline process
  • Delivers decisions made by HA leadership concluding disciplinary situations
  • Oversees the probation process and the wellbeing of all women undergoing the process
  • Meets monthly (30, 60, 90 days) with women placed on probation
  • Contacts parents of participants that have been referred out and/or participants placed on probation as needed
  • Guides participants that have been referred out of the program through the necessary exit process
  • Counsels participant(s) on an as-needed basis for deeper issues and determine if the participant(s) needs to be referred to an expert in a particular field


  Women’s Classes and Curriculum

  • Collaborates with Titus Two Women (staff mentor program) representative for ideas to involve staff women in the development of UG and GI women
  • Updates and oversees the Women’s Program manual, Risen curriculum, Growth Groups curriculum, Women’s LTE content, and Rise and Shine breakfast event planning.
  • Coordinates and requests materials and donations for the Women’s Program
  • Schedules, coordinates, and provides hospitality needs for Women’s Program speakers and VIPs.
  • Manages and oversees the Women’s Program budget
  • Creates and improves various aspects of the Women’s Program

  • Provide coaching, supervision, and direction in the execution of DM projects and time management.  Projects may include, but limited to:

  • Dorm Manager documentation and network development
  • CA event planning
  • CA Retreats
  • Fellowship opportunities
  • CA and GI roads
  • CA summer training
  • Lifestyle Evaluations
  • Women’s Life Transforming Event (LTE)
  • HA General LTEs
  • Oversee incoming Dorm Manager Summer Training
  • Interview and recommend incoming Dorm Manager women
  • Implement training for effective discipleship and coaching to address various issues as needed
  • Serves as the next level of escalation from the DM women for emergency situations
  • Create team oriented environment within the DM women (to set the tone and morale of the HA programs)
  • Provide spiritual, professional, and personal accountability to the DM women
  • Has a real time grasp on the overall spiritual/emotional/physical/personal wellbeing of the UG and GI women
  • Strong involvement in the Core Advisor (CA) Program
  • Ensure CA women are being effectively mentored
  • Teach classes for CA Development as needed
  • Provide significant leadership and direction for the CA Program


Weekly Responsibilities

  • Attend and facilitate Risen class
  • Teach Women’s Growth Groups class
  • Attend and assist facilitation of DM Alignment with Director of Honor Academy Operations
  • Weekly one-on-one with Director of the Honor Academy
  • Weekly one-on-one with Director of Women
  • Weekly collaborative meeting with Director of HA Operations and Director of Men
  • Weekly Honor Academy Lead Team meeting
  • Weekly one-on-one staff meetings with Dorm Manager Women
  • Review and follow up with Head DM report (a compilation of all DM Women Weekly reports)
  • Weekly team meetings with DM Women, Women’s Program Manager, the Director of Women, and the Core Advisor women
  • Attend required HA and TM staff meetings (morning standing meeting, Chapel, Staff Chapel, etc.)
  • Submit weekly report to Director of Men by 5pm Monday
