About Living Faith:

The Church Manager will report directly to the Senior Pastor and will foster an environment that facilitates growth and development of the church and her members by:

  • effective management of people, time, energy and other resources
  • excellent spoken, written and digital communications
  • diligent and careful coordination of people, events and tasks
  • superlative application of word processing and administrative skills
  • positive integration of people into community life, and
  • daily application of planning and decision-making skills that promote Christian community


  • Manage overlapping and multi-faceted processes, people and projects that allow people to participate fully in the life of our church
  • Manage the paid and unpaid staff and church members
  • Integrate church members and future members into the church community through events, classes, small groups and service projects
  • Oversee web-based and print media to communicate effectively within the layers of the church community
  • Effective administrative decisions and actions are essential, combined with effective problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Word processing, layout and design of print media, web design and social networking

Specific Skills:

  • Word processing using Microsoft Office Suite including Publisher and companion software
  • Desktop publishing
  • Web design and management
  • Church marketing
  • Strong manager orientation with strong relational skills
  • Able to happily coordinate multiple competing projects with limited time
  • Leadership experience in volunteer systems; church experience preferred

Remuneration and Hours:

  • 4/5 time:  Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening meetings
  • Salary range:  $33,000-$36,000 annually
  • No medical benefits offered
