Job Type:  Part Time with additional growth position could become Full Time


Hours:  Part-Time (20 to 25 hours per week) Full Time (40 hours per week)


Summary:  Liberty Christian Center is a growing non-denominational church located in Killeen, a growing military community in Central Texas, approximately one hour north of Austin and just over 2 hours south of Dallas.  We are seeking an individual to help us as we grow and minister to our culturally diverse community.  This individual must be able to blend contemporary and traditional gospel music while maintaining a modern/contemporary appearance/atmosphere. 




  Spiritual Life

-       Must be a committed disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ in a growing relationship with God.

-       Must demonstrate a gifting and passion toward worship.

-       Must be passionate about leading others in interactive experiential worship.



-       Must be a proficient keyboardist/pianist  or organist (or both).

-       Must be competent  in vocal and instrumental directing

-       Must be capable of teaching and training others to sing.

-       Must have at least a year of worship ministry leadership experience.

-       Must have experience working with audio/video and website technology.

-       Must be capable of recruiting, training and leading volunteers.


The Minister of Music/Worship Arts Minister’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Provide leadership over Praise and Worship and Choral music ministry
  • Organize and oversee the praise team, mass choir and children’s choir
  • Recruit, train, and equip laypersons to minister and serve in the band and instrumental ministries. 
  • Schedule, plan and coordinate special worship concerts and events under the direction and vision of the pastor.  
  • Must prayerfully select the music for all ministry events.
  • To oversee and coordinate with the Praise Dance and Mime Ministry Leaders to include managing and scheduling ministry opportunities during services.
  • To coordinate with our Audio/Visual Technician to ensure quality of sound and video presentation for our live and internet streaming audiences.
