The Children's Director is responsible for serving on an interdependant Family Ministry team (936) and overseeing the entirety of children's ministry (birth through 5th grade). This includes providing leadership and vision for overall program development, coordination and implementation. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Creatively wire Construction Company (Grades K-5) to reach every family unit within our circle of influence with multiple opportunities to connect them to God and each other.
•Maintain integrity in the building of leadership to oversee Construction Company
•Responsible for the CC budget
•Partner with the 936 team to provide environments that build strong families & children
•Oversight of all CC weekend presentations – small group and large group
•Stage presence at CC and monthly Family Events
•Maintain healthy policies and procedures for CC.
•Provide leadership in the Day to Day operations of the CC ministry
•Provide leadership development for the CC team to include the recruitment and growth of volunteers and staff. Identify, equip and release these volunteers and staff for the work of the ministry.
•Provide Christ-centered, spiritual leadership in your testimony and lifestyle that is modeled for family units
•Proven experience in leading teams
•Ability to serve on an interdependent team that develops relational ministry and has a passion to build strong family units.
•A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
•A clear and distinct calling to children’s ministry.
•Successful leadership experience in children’s ministry including vision setting, creativity, and inspiring volunteers.
•Able to administer and organize budgets, events, and ministry communications.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
