Job Description:

Position:  Youth Pastor

Type:  Full-Time

Church:  Kent Chinese Alliance Church, Kent, WA

Denomination:  Christian & Missionary Alliance  (http://cmalliance.org/about/beliefs/doctrine)

Church Size:  100 - 150

Kent Chinese Alliance Church (KCAC) is a vibrant cross-cultural church that initially launched in 2004 with a Chinese-speaking (Cantonese) ministry and later expanded in 2008 with an English-speaking ministry.  In 2011, after celebrating just 7 years of ministry, the church purchased a sizable facility in the city of Kent to accommodate its growing congregation for years to come.  By God's provision through the church's 100+ faithful members, KCAC has flourishing children's, youth, college, and adult ministries that meet every week in a facility conveniently located just one mile east of the Kent Station shopping center.

The youth of KCAC is made up of approximately 30 students from grades 6 through 12 and college.  As the Youth Pastor, your job is to cultivate the next generation of faithful followers of Jesus.  You will be responsible for teaching, preaching, and leading Youth Worship.  Through Sunday school and weekly fellowship, you will teach Biblical truth to the youth and build a thriving community in Christ.  You will receive support from parents as you partner with them in growing their children's relationship with God.
