Adult Groups Pastor, Reservoir Campus
Are you passionate about shepherding adults? Do you dream about training them in how to live “on mission” in their community? Do you love to develop leaders in the small group setting, who will in turn produce other leaders? If so, please keep reading.
The position of Pastor, Adult Groups is responsible for providing leadership for developing reproducing leaders among adult small groups at Pinelake Church’s Reservoir campus to reach the community, state and world for Christ.
The ideal candidate will be an integral member of Pinelake’s Adult Groups Ministry Team with the specific responsibility of building structure, casting vision, and building upon a “multiplying leadership” strategy within the Adult Groups Ministry. The job
is NOT to do all of the work within the Adult Groups Ministry, but rather to provide adults with what they need to do the work of ministry as described by Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, you will need to be very comfortable in reproducing your leadership and ministry
in coaches who will in turn reproduce it in your leaders.
A large portion of the role is to recruit (and work through) coaches and leaders who champion the planting of new, life-giving small groups in the community to “Learn from Christ, Live for Christ and Lead others to Christ.” In addition, you will serve as
minister to our Adult Group coaches and leaders; maintain accurate data on group participation and activities; collect, share, and celebrate small group stories of life-change; personally model discipleship by investing in 1-2 adults utilizing Pinelake’s discipleship
program Foundations; and assist in the selection and/or development of group curriculum.
You need to have expereience in a similar role before tobe considered for this position.
