Job Description:
Northeast Bible Church seeks to glorify God by being a community of Chirst led, unified, maturing believers that are outward focused.

The Position
Early Childhood Coordinator will provide leadership and direction to our growing Early Childhood Ministry. The successful applicant will work directly with the Director of Children’s Ministries. This individual must possess the ability to lead a dedicated team to serve the families of Preschoolers.

Skills Needed
Excellent organizational and administrative skills along with knowledge of early childhood development are necessary. Supervision of staff, computer skills, and an ability to employ a developmentally accurate curriculum are necessary. The desirable applicant will bring a heart for meeting the unique needs of young children and will work to ensure that all aspects of the ministry are of the highest quality possible. Finally, while the focus of the position is to care for the kids, this position's primary objective will be to recruit, train and support adult voluteers to care for kids.

* Prepare classrooms for use during events. * Work with ministry leaders to determine childcare needs for specific events. * Hire, train and supervise paid hourly childcare workers. * Prepare rotation schedule for Sunday morning volunteers. * Conduct monthly staff meetings and training for paid staff and volunteers. * Monitor ratios and make adjustments when needed. * Oversee implementation of curriculum. * Notify Children's Ministry Director (in a timely manner) of any issues which may require her attention. * Supervise room stewardship. * Order/Purchase supplies needed. * Prepare any reports required. * Participate in required staff meetings. * Assist Children's Ministry Director with other duties as necessary.
