The Division of Student Affairs at Messiah College invites applications for the full time position of College Pastor to begin in July 2014.
Responsibilities: The College Pastor provides leadership and vision for the Department of College Ministries and communicates the theological vision of the college to the Messiah College community as well as the broader community.
Qualifications: Master’s degree; Doctoral degree preferred. Three years of college campus experience and five years of ministry experience are required. Ability to foster and nurture spiritual growth in individuals and in the community;
demonstrated theological knowledge and understanding, excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated managerial, organizational and budget skills; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the stages of student development and the importance of holistic education;
demonstrated commitment to continued learning/professional development (i.e. presentations, publications, serving on regional or national committees).
