Job Description:

Centerville Community Church (CCC) is seeking a full time Lead Pastor.  The CCC Lead Pastor has oversight of all ministries occurring at CCC with specific focus on prayer, preaching, vision casting, staff development, community outreach, leadership development, administration and discipleship.  The Lead Pastor is accountable to the Elder Board.


Job Overview:

The CCC Pastor must meet the qualification of Elder as found in I Timothy 3:1-7, be licensed or licensable in the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), and have a clear sense of God’s call to pastoral ministry.  We seek a conversational style preacher who uses expositional and topical approaches to apply the Word to congregants’ lives.  To be successful, we believe our Pastor must be able to clearly and compellingly communicate vision and inspire people to pursue it.  We seek an empowering leader, committed to equipping and releasing with appropriate accountability.

A Master of Divinity preferred.



Has a proven track record of effective leadership either as:

  • A lead pastor of a growing church having led the congregation to a Sunday morning attendance of at least 300-400.
  • A staff pastor in a large church whose ministry responsibilities allowed him to develop tools to lead a church of 500+ into next levels of growth.
