Element Church is seeking a highly skilled Element Team (Volunteer Services) Pastor with a passion for leading and developing individuals to serve ministry needs of the church. Must possess the ability to recruit, develop, equip, empower and coach Element Team leaders to lead successful teams. This Pastor will directly lead and develop the Growth Track process to get new members acquainted with the church, understand more about God, define their ministry/personality traits and get involved as Element Team Members as they maximize their full potential. Has responsibility for the health of the Element Team and ensures that the vision is communicated and met. The qualified applicant would implement the strategic vision and leadership for the Element Team and Growth Track Departments and serve on the Senior Leadership Team for Element Church, providing leadership and guidance for the church, as well as vision and strategy for growth and expansion.  This role reports directly to the Executive Pastor of Adult Ministries.


Element Team Description: The Element Team is a group of incredible people who have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Host Team, leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Student Ministries Team, crafting a dynamic experience with the Creative Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group or partnering with the community as a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.

Growth Track Description: The Element Church Growth Track is a catalyst to help individuals become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The Track offers the tools necessary to make this a reality in their lives. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to the final destination in life-changing ministry, Growth Track will lead people step-by-step from healing to growth and ultimately into a fulfilling leadership Element Team role.



The Senior Leadership Team Element Team Pastor is responsible for:

  1. Leadership development and direction to recruit, develop, equip, and empower leaders to lead successful teams
  2. Overseeing all phases of the Element Team and Growth Track to ensure steady participation and integration of individuals into ministry positions
  3. Inspiring and leading ministry team leaders to encourage Element Team members in their areas
  4. Creating a culture within the Element Team based upon the church’s core values
  5. Staying current on emerging trends in ministry, coaching and volunteerism
  6. Keeping the Element Team members continually engaged in producing excellent results while staying on schedule and within budget
  7. Handling Element Team member evaluations and administration for the Element Team/Growth Track Departments
  8. Implementing systems to encourage and show appreciation for the church’s Element Team Members

Senior Leadership Team:  Element Team Pastor—40+ hours weekly



  • Exemplifying a godly lifestyle and spiritual leadership to the Element Church community
  • 3+ years experience in ministry management and/or professional staff/volunteer development, training or coaching management role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading several large ministries in a church with an average weekly attendance of 2,000+ people
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to excel at details, multi-task, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Remain knowledgeable on all systems used by the Element Team, including Fellowship One and other databases
  • Excellent people management and team coaching skills
  • A passion for team, staff culture, excellence, and loyalty
  • A willingness and openness to be pastored and coached
  • Dynamic written and verbal communication skills (public speaking abilities a plus)
  • Self-motivation, a professional demeanor, adaptability to change, and a “whatever-it-takes” attitude
