Children’s and Youth Director
CUP Evangelical Presbyterian Church is seeking a full-time Children’s and Youth Director for our 175 member congregation. The Director will be building on a growing ministry with children, youth, parents, and community members.
Our mid-week K-6 established children’s program serves church and community families by developing their Christian faith and gifts through drama, games, Bible stories, and a shared dinner with parents/caregivers. Children help with worship once a month,
and perform Christian musicals for Christmas and Mother’s Day. Duties for the Director include planning and directing the program, working effectively with the Pastor and volunteers, and planning Vacation Bible School with the Pastor and lay leaders. The mid-week
program currently reaches 35+ children. Energy is important!
Our youth ministry program involves mid-week small groups, Sunday morning teaching, and Sunday evening gatherings. Retreats with other area EPC and Alliance churches have been done the last several years. Mission trips involving middle and high school
youth and adults occur each summer. Duties for the Director include planning and directing the youth ministry, working effectively with the Pastor and volunteers, and participating in the mission trip. The Director will work with a core team of adults to
develop and coordinate discipleship in following Jesus Christ. Opportunities to train youth in praise team worship either separate or included with the adult praise team will be encouraged.
Our church is located next to the area high school, and includes a manse to be used by the Director.
