Job Title

Associate Pastor of Biblical Community (Small Groups)

 

Reports to:

Ministry Team Pastor/Senior Pastor

 

Key Responsibilities
Provide pastoral leadership to the development of the Small Group Ministry, the Small Group Leadership Team, the GCC Regional Plan and any other teams of ministry areas as directed.

 

Provide vision, direction and organization to the planning and execution of strategies, procedures, training and equipping to accomplish the goals of this ministry.

 

To oversee, maintain, and train leaders in the Discipleship Process.

 

To use their gifts of teaching as needed by the Senior Pastor on Sunday mornings and other times as required.

 

Give leadership to Men’s connection events four to six times a year.

 

Provide pastoral care to the congregation as needed, to include: Prayer (Acts 6:4); Weddings/funerals; Biblical Counseling; Etc.

 

 

Spiritual Gifts and Abilities Required:

Leadership, Teaching, Entrepreneurial skills, Administration, Proven Discipler, Effective Trainer

 

 

Attitude Required:

Team player, Humility, Brokenness, Desperation for God, Lifestyle of prayer
