Job Description:
Associate District Executive Minister of Multiplication

Salary Level: Grade Six

Salaried, Full time position

Reports To: Executive Minister

Evaluation Process:

Yearly

* Evaluated twice per year by Executive Minister, midyear and at the end of the fiscal year when the annual review is signed and put into the personnel file

End of Fifth Year

* 360 review done in preparation for reappointment



Reporting Relationships:

Coordinator of Ethnic Ministries, Coordinator of Fund Raising Training, Coordinator of Short Term Missions, Coordinator of Coaching and Training, Coordinator of Lead Team Development, Part-time Administrative Assistant

Position Objective:

* Primary, catalyst leader in GLBC church planting movement
* Development of a movement of new church plants throughout the GLBC region working in conjunction with the GLBC LEAD teams and LEAD coaches



Focus and Oversight:

Funding of the Movement

* 30%-Devoted to various fundraising aspects of the movement



Recruitment

* 30%-Devoted to various recruitment strategies of the district



Oversight of Coaching, Training, Administration

* 30%-Responsible to oversee the implementation of the various coaching, training, and administrative aspects of the ministry
* Also will work with the Board of Overseers and the Executive Management Team in the development of new long term policy directives for the movement



Strategic Objectives

* 10%-Assisting the Executive Minister in the overall direction and implementation of the strategic objectives for the entire district as determined by the Executive Minister with confirmation of the Board of Overseers for the entire district.



Responsibilities:

Fund Development

1. Increase the Church Planting Advancement Fund by 10 % every year in conjunction with the Director of Development
2. Provide training and work with every new church plant to bring to full support category
3. Speak in 24 GLBC churches per year
1. Meet their mission’s boards/leadership teams concerning funding needs of church planting movement.
4. Engage in at least ten face to face conversations with prospective donors
1. Execute at least five asks per year (“Asks” are specific, personal solicitations related to targeted donors for funding GLBC ministries.
5. Participate in at least five donor parties per year



Recruitment

1. Oversee total recruitment system which includes referrals from the following sources: direct recruitment, website, LEAD teams, direct recruitment from campus and seminary visitations, and local church
2. Meet yearly recruitment goals established in conjunction with the LEAD Coaches that have been ratified and confirmed by the Executive Minister
3. Respond back to prospective applicants within 24-48 hours from initial contact
4. Work with the Director of Communications and Development to create promotional videos, brochures, web design, etc.



Coaching, Training and Administrative Systems

1. Ensure new church planters are assigned a qualified, well matched coach

4. Expectations Interview and all administrative paper necessary for hiring a new planter
5. Assessment Process
6. Short term Missions Coordinator
7. Ethnic Ministries Coordinator

9. Church compliance issues
3. Available to assist the Executive Minister in any other administrative management roles that might develop



Leadership Assistant to the District Executive Minister

1. Attend
1. Weekly EMT meetings
2. Board of Overseer meetings
3. All district wide functions such as pastor’s prayer gatherings, area meetings, pastor board training, etc.
4. Pastor and Wives Retreat
2. Oversee and provide leadership for the Church Planting Task Group of the Overseers
3. Assist DEM is any other administrative and management duties as deemed necessary
