Job Description:
Unique, Relational, Innovative Youth Pastor Wanted

Ore Creek Community Church is a small group focused church that values people and seeks to build into their lives to the glory of God. Currently, our Sunday service takes place at a local school while our youth and adult small groups meet weekly in homes. Our lead pastor has been with us since we began in 1998, and our youth pastor, who is assuming a new role as our navigation pastor, has been at OCCC since 2001. We are looking for a full-time pastor to focus on approximately 35 students grades 6 through 12. Our current youth ministry strategy follows the “Seven Checkpoints” model as outlined in Andy Stanley’s book by the same name. Our programing includes a mixture of large and small group environments with special events throughout the year. We place a heavy emphasis on service, and our summer mission/work trips are very important.

The ideal candidate should be a passionate follower of Jesus, a courageous lover of people, a capable leader, an effective communicator, a mature disciple, and an experienced youth leader.

Do you love Larry Crabb, Dan Allender, Andy Stanley, and Craig Groeschel? Do you want to start with a firm foundation and build an innovative ministry for the next generation of leaders? Maybe Ore Creek is the place for you.
