Faith Bible Fellowship is a Bible teaching church located in the beautiful Matanuska-Susitna Valley in Southcentral Alaska. Our philosophy of ministry is very simple. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God,” Romans 10:17. God’s job description for every spiritual leader is, “Preach the Word. Be faithful in season and out of season” (2 Timothy 4:2). We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who desires to teach the Bible and lead a vital, growing ministry in the far North! We are a missions minded church. This position involves leading mission teams throughout Alaska.
Responsibilities of this position include overseeing the spiritual growth and development of Junior & Senior High school and college-aged students.
The Youth Pastor will select curriculum and direct all programs for Junior & Senior High youth. He will nurture youth in their relationship with Christ through Sunday School classes, in-depth Bible studies and discipleship programs. In addition, he will schedule/organize regular meetings/activities for Junior and Senior High youth and college aged students.
He is responsible for training youth/young adults to serve Christ by creating and providing opportunities to become servant leaders. He will organize and direct Vacation Bible School and various mission trips the youth are involved in throughout the year, utilizing both student and adult volunteer leaders
Youth outreach responsibilities include making and maintaining positive relationships with community educational leaders and unchurched youth through participation in youth functions held in the schools and community. The Youth Pastor will organize activities that may involve unchurched youth participation at Faith Bible Fellowship.
The Youth Pastor will be called upon to preach Sunday morning service in the absence of the Senior Pastor; and he will serve as ex-officio member of the Elder Board.

b. be in agreement with Faith Bible Fellowship Doctrinal Statement.
c. be a “team player” with church leadership and staff.
d. strive to be available for all church functions and ministries.
e. maintain a godly character that no reproach may come through him upon the Body of Christ.
f. have a bachelors degree from a 4-year college or university.
g. be an excellent teacher of the Bible.
h. be willing to relocate to Big Lake, Alaska.
