Job Description:

We’re looking for a web designer with a great eye for design and the wits to match. This highly talented individual will work closely with the Senior Designer and Communications Director on all things web and social media.


  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a web/graphic designer, with clean, standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible HTML/CSS experience
  • Ability to create unique and superior web designs
  • Solid understanding of PHP, Javascript, Ajax, MySQL, WordPress and best practices
  • Complete fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in social networking apps, such as Facebook, both on the web and on mobile platforms


  • You are curious, quick and meticulous, and care about the Web and its users
  • You believe code is a craft and can be beautiful
  • You are passionate about technology and keep up with the latest web trends
  • You’re probably camping out at the Apple Store when the next new product comes out for sale
  • You tweet in your sleep
  • You are a networker and love to connect with others


  • Code pixel-perfect HTML/CSS, as necessary, based on mockups
  • Work in a quickly-paced environment juggling multiple projects with rapid response
  • Ensure designs communicate desired messaging, goals, and functionality, within timelines
  • Develop a team of volunteers and use your influence to help them reach their potential
  • Be passionate about Jesus and Potential Church, and represent both with excellence, on and off the job
