Job Announcement
New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church in O’Fallon, Illinois is currently receiving resumes in consideration for the Worship Arts Director position.  The person in this ministerial role has the primary function of nurturing and facilitating heartfelt corporate worship as expressed through music and arts at New Life in Christ Church.

Job Responsibilities
Provides general leadership of proficiency in and oversight to developing/directing services, leader/volunteer recruitment, supervision of worship leaders (both paid and unpaid),  selection, training, placement, scheduling & mentorship, worship leading, facilitating band/team rehearsals, and overseeing all technical aspects of worship arts.  This includes the incorporation and coordination of congregational songs, choir, dance, drama, or other artistic expressions.

Job Qualifications
The background and experiences necessary to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to this position include Bachelor’s degree in music or related ministry field or equivalent knowledge & experience, a minimum of three years experience in worship leadership, demonstrated ability to lead, organize and delegate the creative elements involved in worship services.

Salary & Benefits
There is a predetermined salary range of $62 to $65,000 for this position based on the current market data available for similar positions in churches of our size and budget. The level of experience and education of a potential candidate will determine the starting salary point on the pay scale. This is a full-time position.
