Job Description:

  • The Children’s Ministry Director at a multi-ethnic multi- cultural church.
  • Take responsibility for overseeing all ministries to infants to children in the 5th grade.
  • The Director has the responsibility of ensuring that those under their shepherding are following and becoming more like Jesus Christ, living in healthy Christian community, pursuing acts of service, and growing in the ability to provide servant leadership.
  • Oversee, develop, and grow a ministry to children that comes alongside parents to teach the basics of the Christian faith.
  • Develop a dynamic Sunday school for children.
  • Recruit and train committed servants and teachers.
  • Attend Staff Meetings
  • Attend session  meetings as requested
  • Available for any other duty that helps COR execute it’s mission

Job Requirements:

  • Committed Christian dedicated to serving in the Body of Christ.
  • BA Degree
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must exhibit a polished and professional demeanor
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • History of working effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office and other basic computer skills
  • Basic working knowledge of the Bible with demonstrated lifestyle consistent with its teachings
