Engedi Church is a young, passionate, and missional community of 1000 people who are committed to loving and serving God, its neighbors, and the world. It preaches the gospel and does its best to live it out. Since Engedi’s inception in 2005, its mission has been to advance the kingdom revolution of Jesus worldwide. The church has identified five core values it believes marks the advance of Jesus’ kingdom in its midst. Additionally, its community strives to live out five life practices that embody these values.

Engedi believes that God’s original dream for creation was to create a community of people who experience complete wholeness of mind, body, emotions, and soul in Him through deep, meaningful, and diverse relationships with each other. In an effort to advance this vision, Engedi is searching for a Pastor of Discipleship & Teaching Team Member whose primary responsibility will be to help create sub-communities (CABLE Groups) within Engedi that are relationally intentional, gospel-focused, and missional minded. Additionally, this member will be part of the Teaching Team at Engedi and will be responsible to teach up to fifteen times per year at Sunday morning gatherings.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an innovative leader in spiritual formation ministries, small groups, and missional involvement. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in team-building, creative thinking, vision casting, mobilizing teams, connecting people and resources to needs, and the ability to connect cross-culturally in an economically diverse setting.
