Job Description:


Community Christian Fellowship is a loving, non-denominational congregation that exists for the Celebration of the Greatness of God, Proclamation of the Word of God, Edification of the People of God, and Demonstration of the Love of God. The newly created part-time position of Director of Worship Ministries will serve a vital role in fulfilling our church's purposes.


The Director of Worship Ministries is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the worship and production ministries of Community Christian Fellowship. While this is a part-time position meant to compliment one’s full-time career or job, it is an important ministry position regardless of the employment status.


Community Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church with a Baptist history. Our service is a modern blend of contemporary and classic Christian music that utilizes a worship band and vocal teams. Currently, we have one Sunday worship service, but we will add more services as the church continues to grow.


Job Requirements:

Include, but are not limited to:

-Planning and leading weekly worship services and Worship Team rehearsals

-Overseeing, recruiting and training of Worship & Production teams

-Preparing music, tab sheets, and slides for rehearsals and services

-Preparing and leading other special services as needed

-Serving as a member of the Ministry Accountability Team (MAT)

-Assisting the Lead Pastor as necessary

-Being present for regular rehearsals and worship services

-Being available to meeting regularly with Lead Pastor

-Being present for monthly staff meetings


-Preference for Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Christian College (Other education will be considered with ministry and employment experience)

-Experience in worship ministry with preference for those who have had strong leadership roles in a worship ministry

-Strong musical and vocal abilities with preference for piano proficiency

-Must be able to lead and work well with people

-Must be willing to learn and utilize MediaShout and PowerPoint


Candidate Profile:

The candidate for this position will be:

-Totally dedicated to Christ

-Emotionally mature, stable, and teachable


-Passionate about music ministry

-A self-starter and disciplined

-Strong music and vocal abilities
-Able to work with teams


-In agreement with the Statement of Faith and theological perspectives of the church


-Salary: $15,000 ($288.00 a week)

-Two weeks paid vacation time
-One Sunday off a quarter
