Job Description:

The Connections Director is a full-time, forefront leader and developer of future leaders, collaborative team player, a creative visionary, organized and structured, devoted to salvation and development process of assimilating people into Faith Church.


The Job


Connecting people into small groups

• Owning the process and championing the small group vision which includes overseeing the formation of groups, filling of groups, facilitating of groups, and evaluating groups

• By identifying and training leaders, including ongoing communication and relationships with small group leaders, team leaders, and developing new leaders

• Oversee tracking system in Fellowship One to monitor ongoing groups and keep track of growth and health all accountable information

• Develop a plan for the accountability and future growth of small groups

• Training leaders to lead

• Managing daily and weekly bible studies


Volunteer Central


• Oversee a church wide process for helping people identify their spiritual gifts and engage in serving in those areas is a BIG part of this position

• Oversee follow up process of visitors (i.e. communication cards, emails, calls)

Connecting People by maintaining a process of assimilation

• Lead the membership process of Faith Church by organizing the New Member Reception and seeing it through from beginning to end

• Connecting to and tracking people from their first time as a guest through membership

• Continue to develop the first impression experience for guests

• Learning and optimizing usage of the database


The Connections Director must be:


• A strong leader who is passionate/experienced in developing a volunteer team of group leaders

• A leader with the ability to develop systems and processes as needed with an organized, detail oriented mindset

• Able to train, empower and shepherd a team of leaders

• Able to work with others in a team environment

• Driven to make disciples and create new avenues for believers to grow in their faith

• Thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment

• Able to monitor and lead groups that may meet in the mornings or evenings

• Highly organized
