Mission Statement – In accordance with Grace Fellowship’s Vision to be a
House of Prayer for All Nations, you would work on a team that exists to draw each attendee into a truly connected relationship with God through the local church through their: serving as a volunteer, participating in discipleship group/relationship,
and participating in a Sunday morning worship service.
- First and foremost, the Connection Ministry Associate Director (CMAD) is to walk with God and cultivate a healthy family life (these are the most important and everything else is subordinate).
- Vocationally, the CMAD gives a combination of leadership and administrative support to the Connection Dept. Some, but not all, of the duties to be performed include:
Retention & Engagement Ambassador – In cooperation with the Connection Pastor (CP), effectively handle the follow-up process of Newcomers that contact us by discerning who to field personally and who to redirect to others on the
team. (This role will also include leading and coordinating this same type of follow-up with volunteers whenever possible.) This role includes maintaining an office “presence”, helping welcome guest/visitors and congregants, and generally creating an inviting
atmosphere for everyone who walks through the doors of the church. This role helps to make personal contacts to engage the unengaged.
Administrative Ambassador – Various CMAD admin tasks include: scheduling of volunteer times and activities, coordinating administrative functions that can be effectively performed by our volunteers, assist with mailings, special
projects, church-wide events, etc.
Database Operator – Part of your regular duties will be the upkeep of the Connection Ministry member/prospect database system. The goal is to make this database and process ques work to the fullest potential (you will be trained
in-house on the myplace@grace system) to ensure the highest level of follow-up care is provided.
Creative Researcher & Developer– A spirit of constant improving of current Connection processes and procedures is desired. Research and Development to implement new ideas or projects each week is part of the role of this position.
Leader to Connection Ministry Volunteers – Effectively multiply yourself through the recruiting, training, cultivating, and utilization of volunteers that help achieve this job description.
Director (Authority)- The CMAD will have the ability/authority to make final decisions in areas they lead (CP will outline these) (along with making final decisions in conjunction with the Executive Pastor in the absence of the

- Serve as a team player on the entire church staff team. Use your gifts and strengths to complement the staff body of Christ. Have a “whatever it takes” attitude. Together, we will all seek to accomplish the mission of God through the church.
Position Beginning & Resumes/Interviews-
Resumes/Interviewing begins July 2013 (as needed) until late August 2013. Looking for position to be filled and start date in late August or early September 2013.

Working Hours – In conjunction with and with the approval of the Connection Pastor, you are to develop and publish a working schedule that maximizes time with your family and time accomplishing
