Job Description:

First United Methodist Church of Gilbert, AZ seeks a dynamic, Christ-centered Director of Children and Youth Ministries who has a sense of call and a passion for working with children and youth.  Responsibilities include oversight of all discipleship, outreach, and recreational activities for children and youth Pre-School age through Grade 12.  (A detailed job description is posted on the church website.)  We are a 950 member church with great potential and a growing number of young families. 

Qualifications:  Five years’ experience in a similar position is preferred.  Bachelor’s degree in education, religion or a related field is preferred.  Experience in Christian education in a United Methodist Church is desirable.
