About New Life

  • New Life is a young (9 years old) and growing church located in the heart of the county in Northern Indiana. NLF averages a little over 400+ on Sunday with a high percentage being young families. Our tourist town is located in between South Bend and Fort Wayne and cosists of solid, hardworking families who want God to do something big with them and their community. NLF is a plant / strategic partner with Nappanee Missionary Church (3,000+) and is continuing to seek and listen to God as it develops its mission to the world.

Position's Vision

  • Lead the people of NLF into meaningful relational connections whereby they can model a vibrant and authentic Christian community that enhances how the NLF family engages the young people of the community so as to raise up lifelong followers of Christ who will, ultimately, lead like Jesus... and like they’ve seen in us
  • Follower/Imitator of Jesus Christ and committed to His Word
  • Experienced in leading paid and/or volunteer staff
  • Previous ministry experience prefered

Gifting

  • Team Building
  • Multiplying / Leader of leaders
  • Relational
  • Ability to execute vision

Key Operating Assumptions of the Vision

  • As a multiplier, the primary job is to be one of the pastoral leaders of NLF, preparing this group of God’s people for works of service and ministry so that Sunday attenders become connected contributors to a rich, meaningful ‘life together’ network of relationships, increasingly fueled and populated by new leaders who are raised up from among high school teens we helped to become followers of Jesus (see Ephesians 4:11-16)
  • The end goal is to see young people thoroughly integrated with a highly connected fellowship of Christians who live out their faith together with generosity for the glory of God in our community

About the Church

New Life Fellowship

New Life Fellowship began in the summer of 2004. It formed as a result of several people desiring to see their community transformed by the power of Christ. NLF began meeting in a bank basement in Topeka, Indiana. Later NLF moved to meeting Sunday mornings to Meadowview Elementary School. On March 16, 2008 NLF moved into its church building located 3.5 miles South of the intersection of U.S. 20 and S.R. 5. New Life is a partner church with Nappanee Missionary Church. NLF continues to grow and reach the community for Christ. More...
