Willow Creek Community Church
Job Description:
Creative Arts Director/Worship Leader (FT)

Are you tired of decaffeinated, predictable, institutionalized, non-revolutionary worship services? Does it thrill you to see people freshly encounter God during a worship gathering? Do you get a special rush out of bringing in ancient elements to enrich an edgy worship experience? Is it your God-given purpose in life to not just lead but pastor people—as individuals and a unified body—into a special place of adoring and hearing from God so they can then go and live for Him? Do you lose sleep over considering ways to maximize participation, be multisensory, engage multiple historical traditions or musical styles in the ways you lead worship with your team? If you said YES to all these questions, contact us. Your sweet-spot in the Kingdom awaits, as the Worship Pastor of the thriving, movement-oriented, Christ-energized Willow Creek Community Church of McHenry County.

Key Responsibilities:
• Envision, develop and execute all creative elements of the service with a high performing leadership team.
• Recruit, select, and retain robust volunteer team
• Oversee the technical and spiritual development of the programming and production staff and volunteer teams.
