Job Description:


Miniater of Worship (FTE)

Purpose:  Provides leadership in creating a culture of Dynamic and Authentic Worship. Leads in the development of creative and diverse expressions of worship that effectively REACH Up, In & Out. Collaborates with pastoral and ministry staff to create a congregational culture that embraces the Mission, Core Values and Ministry Initiatives of RC.

Position Description:

Oversight and coordination of all Worship experiences and activities

  • Weekly Sunday Worship: both Blended & The Canvas
  • Seasonal Worship Experiences
  • Special Events
  • Worship Space Design

Oversight of all Worship Staff

  • Paid staff
  • Volunteer Staff
  • Interns

Leads, Directs and Produces meaningful Worship by using the many gifts of RC

  • Worship leaders
  • Worship bands
  • Technical crews: sound, lighting, and media
  • Drama and faith witnesses

Primary vision for worship to all the generations and diversities of RC

  • Knowledge as to how worship is developing elsewhere
  • Articulates a worship vision for the lost
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations for improvements to the worship center

Participates as a member of the Pastoral Staff Team

  • Attending weekly staff meetings
  • Actively contributing to the ongoing development of annual/seasonal congregational ministries

Provides leadership in one additional Missional Zone

  • ¼ of time
  • To be decide by individual passion and negotiation with Lead  Pastor.
  • Will provide the staff presence and Leadership

B.A. in Worship, Music Ministry, Church Ministries or other
related field

Recent experience in a Worship Ministry

  • Has previously demonstrated Leadership Skills
  • Working first hand with volunteers
  • Committed to developing Team Ministry with other staff and worship leadership
  • Works respectively with other worship staff and musicians
  • Understands the value and has experience developing leadership in others
  • Has at least one expertise or talent that actively contributes to Worship Leadership Team

  • Character that lives out integrity and faith
  • Competency demonstrated in leadership skills and collaborative planning
  • Chemistry committed to developing team relationships
  • Committed to Intergenerational Ministry
Salary:  $48,000- $62,000
