Family Church is a multi-campus church of over 2000 members located in West Palm Beach, FL. We are seeking a Technical Director who will oversee all technical aspects of the downtown campus as well as all of its satellite campuses, recruit, train and lead volunteer teams. This person will also play an integral role in our Creative Planning meetings, lead our video team and oversee all aspects of IMAG and web streaming. This position reports to the Worship Pastor. We would like the candidates to have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in live sound reinforcement, recruiting and building volunteer teams, as well as general knowledge in the areas of video, and lighting. Job Description

PRINCIPLE FUNCTION To provide Christ-like leadership and supervision to the Technical Ministries of First Baptist Church. To recruit, train, equip and launch volunteer teams into all technical areas across our multi-campus organization

MINISTRY SCOPE Technical Ministries includes the Audio Engineer, Lighting Engineer, PowerPoint Operator, & Ministry Volunteers for FBC Services/Events as well as all technical equipment, electronic musical instruments, and applications for FBC facilities and events. This agreement terminates at the point FBC hires a full time Director of Technical Ministries.

• Oversee all Production Elements and Crew for all weekend services and special events.
o Responsible for all technical components for all weekend services including, sound, lights, IMAG, videos, etc.
o Responsible for scheduling volunteers to fill all roles and positions on Sunday mornings.
o Involved in all planning and creative meetings.
o Partner with other ministries to assist with Technical needs for their special events.
o Responsible for executing new stage designs.

• Equipment maintenance, upgrade and compatibility
o Responsible for the maintenance of all technical equipment on the campus.
o Responsible for planning, designing and installing equipment upgrades and new equipment throughout the campus.
o Responsible for coming up with multiple options in order to meet all technical needs while being a good steward of the church’s resources.
o Work in conjunction with the IT department to enhance our network-based technologies (i.e. Streaming, among others)

• Team recruitment, Oversight and Development
o Responsible for recruiting new Volunteer team members and regularly train them in the different areas of service within the ministry.
o Responsible for the discipleship of the team.
o In charge of creating a professional and exciting work atmosphere within the team and ministry.
o Responsible for building and managing the video production team.

• Staff Responsibilities
o Responsible for setting and tracking the annual Technical ministry’s budget alongside the Worship Pastor.
o Manage any paid staff hired into the technical ministry.
o Meet with the worship pastor regularly to develop new initiatives for the ministry.
o Any other ministry responsibilities as outlined by the Worship Pastor.
