STUDENT MINISTRY TEAM LEADER Christian Life Center is a growing church that averages 2600 for our Saturday and Sunday weekend services. We are seeking a full time Student Ministry Team Leader to pastor, provide vision for and direct the Jr. High, Sr. High, Young Adult and Site Youth Ministries staff and students of Christian Life Center. Job requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, experience in leading teams, and a passion to serve youth. To apply, please complete the application found on our website and return to Gerry Pass at JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and to CLC’s Excellence in Ministry values • Attends weekly service and is actively involved in serving opportunities at CLC • Passion to serve youth • Strategic thinker/visionary leader • Proven ability to execute vision (systems mindset) • Ability to develop and maintain organizational structure • Experience managing, mentoring, developing and evaluating direct reports (pastoral and administrative) • Effective Teacher and Gifted Communicator • Passion for Outreach and campus ministry • Demonstrated success in discipling students • Experience in leading lay teams: equip, train and develop key leaders • Ordained or licensed minister with Assemblies of God • Education B.A. required PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Midweek Service – This is the main service each week where believers and non-believers gather to experience God through worship/altar/the Word. This includes effective and relevant programming and media integration. Separate midweek services are held for Jr. High, Senior High and Young Adults. • New Believers – Facilitating a class or curriculum for new believers to be assimilated into the knowledge of Christ, and the community life of CLC and the Student Ministries. • Outreach/School Ministry – Conducting outreaches and being involved (as much as possible) in local schools to build relationships and increase impact/visibility of the Student Ministry and CLC within the community. • Sunday Mornings – In-depth teaching/discussion that would continue to mature youth in discipleship. • Small Groups – Another important tool for community and belonging, but they also help accountability, and discipleship. • Leadership Development – Focusing on Adult and Student Leadership Teams, and developing them to lead in the many areas of the Student Ministries as well as CLC. • Worship teams – Overseeing and developing worship teams that should primarily consist of youth. • Events – Using events, whether social (bonfires, dodge ball, etc.) or ministry (mission trips, camps, conventions, and retreats) to further strengthen connections with students and God. • Ministry Engagement – Assisting students in identifying their skills and helping them connect with serving opportunities with CLC or the broader community. • Parent Support &Education – Creating opportunities for parents to more effectively connect with and lead their children in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord. Assist with interventions/counseling as needed.
