Job Description:
• Has a strong track record of good leadership skills and the ability to carry out the administrative elements of planning a worship ministry from start to finish
• Has a strong track record of good shepherding skills and the ability to train and equip worship personnel both spiritually and musically
• Has a minimum of 5 years experience in an adult contemporary church of about 200+ people
• Understands the Scriptures and can communicate and teach them through worship – formal biblical education a plus, ordination not required

• Has the ability to draw others into a passionate, contagious, authentic, shared worship experience
• Keeps current with contemporary and culturally relevant music using multiple genres in planning worship
• Has the ability to vocally lead worship from either a guitar or a piano/keyboard
• Has a proven track record of thinking outside the box creatively when planning worship services
• Has a history of being a team player with the ability to build, equip, and enable teams to lead in worship
• Has the ability to interact with people from a wide variety of musical points of view without being solely wed to one form and unable to relate to other forms
• Has the ability to arrange music
• Has the ability to study modern culture and infuse relevancy into worship without compromising the message
• Is passionate about transforming peoples lives through the ministry and able to do so in a high energy, fast paced environment that has grown 35% over three years
• Has the ability to grow and develop creative teams that will enhance the church’s worship experience (eg. dance, drama, and literary teams)

• Proficient in audio and sound technology with the ability to interact with the A/V team to achieve the desired outcome
