Job Description:
The Communications Program Manager is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of communication efforts for The Falls Church. S/he works primarily with church staff, volunteers, and communication service providers. They are expected to engage and mobilize parishioners with communications expertise as needed to help support special communication projects, policies, public relations, and community communications initiatives. The goal of this position is to continually improve and implement our strategic communications plan. The communications plan contains both internal dn external communications components. It is essential that this person be able to respond in a timely manner to provide support to the overall goals of the church. The primary products that this preson is responsibile for are our web site, weekly/regular publications, and other communication technologies.
