Job Description:

i5 Church is looking for a full-time Director of Finance and Administration.  Requirements for this position include the following:

Ideal candidates will have either 4 years of experience working in finance in a leadership role, or will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and 2 years proven success working in finance.  This position will manage all business operations of the ministry and all related entities.  Prior management experience is strongly preferred as the position currently oversees 2 full-time staff.  Specific job responsibilities are listed below:



  • Lead all financial operations of i5 Church
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records in ACS Financial accounting system
  • Complete weekly postings of journal entries to the General Ledger
  • Review and approve weekly payroll direct deposit payments
  • Provide monthly budget updates to all department heads to assist with accurate tracking
  • Manage all aspects of corporate card usage and receipt tracking
  • Serve as liaison for periodic internal/external audits
  • Complete all required annual tax filings
  • Oversee entry and maintenance of tithe and offering contributions records
  • Maintain online time tracking system for non-exempt staff
  • Provide oversight and leadership for volunteer Counting Team
  • Provide regular reporting to Church leadership
  • Complete other finance-related tasks as needed 

IT/Systems Administration

  • Serve as systems administrator to ensure all systems run efficiently and users have necessary access
  • Coordinate all IT needs of the ministry through online helpdesk ticket system
  • Work with IT vendor to ensure software/infrastructure is updated and meets the needs of the organization
  • Manage computer hardware needs and track all inventory for the organization
  • Maintain organization and management of the I5 server and all related files
  • Ensure Fellowship One database is regularly updated and properly maintained to maximize ministry effectiveness


  • Oversee general maintenance of all i5 facilities
  • Provide leadership and support to employees tasked with management of facilities
  • Ensure facilities are maintained according to state and local safety codes


  • Serve as direct supervisor for all Administration employees and complete all necessary management functions as required
  • Handle meetings with all prospective vendors for services
