The Student Ministries of VICTORYCHURCH consists of Student Church, our Middle & High School ministries, and
Merge, our Young Adult ministry. We have a high value on leadership, community, and establishing a missional perspective. Our desire is to see students grow in community where everyone has a place to belong. Through our life groups we focus
on discipleship and growth, as we desire to see students grasp a lifestyle of leadership. We are committed to offering an opportunity for students to come to know Christ, grow deeper, and share Him with others as together we reach our city.
The Middle School Pastor will facilitate the overall vision and direction for the middle school ministry of
VICTORYCHURCH. We view the student ministries department as a family and teamwork is an integral part of who we are. We are looking for someone who is willing to serve the heart of our church, while reaching the students of our community.
Here are a few of the responsibilities of this position:
1. Support the overall vision of the Student Ministries Pastor and of Victory Church.
2. Vision, plan, and lead the middle school ministry.
3. Create a high-level middle school ministry known for excellence in all areas including communication, connection, and growth.
4. Develop strong relationships with volunteers, creating an opportunity for development through nurturing, training, and constant communication.
5. Organize all details regarding the middle school ministry, which includes growth tracks, life groups, leadership, activities, outreach, etc.
6. Ongoing personal, professional, and spiritual development.
We are looking for someone who has a desire to reach and minister to middle school students specifically. We would prefer for the individual to have completed a bachelor’s degree preferably in the area of ministry or leadership. Also, our desire is for
the candidate to possess experience in leading a student ministry of at least 100 students or either heavily involved in a ministry of at least 300 students with the capacity to lead both students and leaders. While we are currently transitioning our ministry
structure, this individual will contribute their creativity, experience, and leadership as we move towards the future.
