Job Description:
North Avenue Presbyterian Church, a dynamic and growing congregation located in the Midtown area of Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a candidate to fill the full-time position of Urban Ministry Coordinator. This key position requires a leader that has a professional demeanor, has a high degree of personal integrity, is highly organized and detail oriented, has a strong service orientation, and most importantly has a heart for ministering to the economically challenged persons of our city.

Responsibilities of the position include the development and empowerment of others to work in urban ministry, the development of network relationships internal and external to the church, development of small group opportunities, advocating on behalf of our constituents to service providers and governmental agencies, and the implementation of the urban ministry strategic plan. A college degree and two or more years of directly related, full-time experience is required.
