Job Description:
Full time Music Pastor at a Interdenominational Charismatic church in Northwest Arkansas. We are reposting our ministry need because of a change in plans by previous candidate. If you have emailed before and are still searching please email again with your resume. You may contact the Senior Pastor at b.coffman@victorychurchnwa.com

Job Descrption:
There are two areas we will address in the Music Pastor’s job description. One is spiritual and deals with ministry and calling. The other is physical or what we will call the practical.
The “nut and bolts” of the practical will be left for later, that will be work and office schedules, day’s off, vacation time, sick days, compensation package, etc. For now your primary responsibility will be for all music ministry at Victory. This will be for two services, English and Spanish. This will include recruiting and developing all musicians and singers for the two services, scheduling of teams for rehearsals and services for both, and selection of praise and worship material for each with input from the appropriate service pastor. Also, you will work with the Pastoral team on Big Days, Special Events, Christmas, Easter, and other special Sundays and services. You will work with sound and tech teams at all services to make sure the sound and lighting add and not detract from our worship experience. You will also work with them on stage design and arrangement, and equipment purchases.
From time to time until we grow a larger congregation and staff we have all adopted the philosophy of “whatever it takes” to make it happen. That means in a crunch we all pitch in to get the job done.
From a ministry perspective you will be accepting the role of Music Pastor. As such, you will be asked to assume the same pastoral compassion, care, and concern for those under your leadership that the senior pastors do. We desire that you represent God, the church, and the other pastoral staff with the highest level of integrity. We desire that you spend all the time necessary with God to make sure you are spiritually ready to lead your team and the church body into the Presence of God in every service. We encourage you to develop relationships with your fellow pastoral team members and those who are a part of your music ministry team.
One of the first things the senior pastor will do is acquaint you with our ministry team. This is staff, executive elders, ministry elders, and deacons. Many of these are people who have weathered the storms and have stood faithfully with us for years. There are those who would say we are partial to these precious saints. We are not partial but we do respect and honor them for their years of service and their own callings from God. We value their input, their dedication, their sincere love and faithfulness to Victory. As the need arises the senior pastor will share their idiosyncrasies because they are not perfect. As a father the senior pastor has learned there are some things that will change as God deals with the person and other things that do not affect their walk with God that we will learn to tolerate.
Should God send you to Victory, you will be coming at a very special time. It will be like a new church plant but with a great team in place. The next three years will be filled with exciting challenges. You will be a part of designing a new worship center for the church. You will be taking the English and Spanish church to powerful new levels in their music ministry. You will have a great responsibility on your shoulders, but be assured one with great reward. We are looking for someone who is not looking at Victory as a stepping stone but a home, a place to put down roots and grow.
Psalms 1:
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
