Primary Roles

Model Christ-likeness

Passionate about Kids Ministry

Brings a Child-like Energy - Age does not matter but the ability to display a child-like energy does

Equips and Empowers leaders and volunteers

  • Encourages, inspires and sometimes confronts leaders and volunteers
  • Recruits on a continual basis
  • Trains, deploys and cares for leaders and volunteers; always finding ways to empower new leaders.
  • Develops clear ministry descriptions for all leaders and volunteers

Enthusiastically communicates well in front of kids

Ensure excellence in all areas of Kids’Street

Strong Leadership Ability

  • Casts a Compelling Vision for Kids’Street
  • Plans 2-3 years in advance
  • Able to anticipate the next ministry initiative and proactively tackle it

Administrate effectively and efficiently (schedule and staffing system, etc.)

  • Highly functioning schedule and staffing system in place
  • Well organized information, procedures, rooms and storage areas
  • Ample supplies available for leaders and volunteers
  • “Check In” procedure simple, safe and smooth

Partners with Family Ministry Team and parents to develop children as passionate followers of Jesus

Generates enthusiasm and excitement with children and parents

Practices Radical Hospitality - Parents and children are warmly welcomed and cared for

Drive Crossroads’ Beliefs, Values, Mission and Vision in Kids’Street



Secondary Role

Special Assistant to the Family Ministries Pastor as needed


Spiritual and Ministry Practices

Consistent practice of Spiritual Disciplines

Equip ministry servants and leaders

Lead or participate in a weekly small group

Generosity as evidenced by giving the Lord His tithe through Crossroads

Participating Member of Crossroads

Outreach as evidenced by invitations, servant evangelism and relationships with those who have yet to experience new life in Jesus

Work a Minimum of 45 Hours and a Maximum of 50 Hours Weekly

Follow the Guidelines of the Employee Handbook
