Job Description: Full time Senior Pastor with normal pastoral duties and responsibilities to include:
Sunday worship, Wednesday evening Bible study, preaching, teaching, and counseling. He should coordinate and direct church staff with the ability to delegate and administer individual areas of ministerial responsibility to staff members. He should have a heart for missions and a desire to assist with the spiritual growth and accountability of the Body, enabling all members to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Senior Pastor should be a minister of the Gospel whose Christian character and qualifications (I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, Ephesians 4:3, and Acts 6:4) make him fit for office. He should be the Shepherd of the Church, giving directions to the total ministry of the church (I Peter 5:2-3) through the preaching and teaching of the Bible; equipping the church for Ministry.
We are looking for a pastor with a true shepherd’s heart; willing to personally invest himself in the ministry with love. He is to be an example to the believers in personal godliness (I Timothy 4:7-12) and exemplify God’s requirements of a pastor; which includes leadership skills for a growing church and be passionate for all worship styles.
Benefits are in addition to the above listed salary range.
1. Ordained Minister.
2. Undergraduate degree preferred, or working toward that degree.
3. Seminary training preferred (although not required).
4. A man fulfilling qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and Titus 1:5-9
