New Life Community Church is dynamic outreach oriented church in the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area. We have a brand new Lead Pastor and are building a new team that will take us into the future. We're looking for a dynamic student ministry leader who is driven by God to build teams, reach students and make passionate followers of Christ.

The right leader will have experience in a large church setting. This role is a perfect fit for a self-starter and initiator of ideas with a clear understanding of youth culture. The ideal person for this ministry is one who wants to take an existing ministry to new levels by creating synergy in a team environment. Come ready to offer strong visionary leadership that serves as a catalyst for growth and outreach to a community in desperate need of God.

I. PURPOSE: To provide catalytic leadership that generates dynamic outreach to unchurched students and leads them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.


A. Three primary areas of ministry focus:
• High School Ministry
• Jr. High Ministry
• College Ministry

B. Serve as a member of church-wide strategic leadership team.

C. Cast vision and give direction to student areas that reflect the greater church’s vision.

D. Identify and develop adult leaders to serve the needs of student ministries.

E. Develop students who show promise of leadership.

F. Create irresistible environments where students thrive and invite their friends.

G. Develop youth services that reflect cutting edge ministry and are attractive to youth culture.

H. Develop programs that train our youth how to reach into their community.

I. Create learning environments for spiritual growth.

J. Create an intern ministry to generate leadership depth.

K. Be available to help with funerals, weddings, etc., as needed.

L. Supervise preparation of ministry budgets in areas of responsibility.


A. This person works in a team relationship with the Pastoral Staff.

B. The Team Leader is the Executive Pastor.
