The Worship Pastor is the primary leader for all vocal, instrumental and technical teams at Grace Baptist Church. He will first be a pastor to the people, and he will lead the band, praise team and choir to lift up Jesus Christ in worship. This person will
be responsible for the spiritual health and overall development of the teams within his care. He will develop, implement, lead and promote a Worship Ministry that is relevant to both the Grace congregation and the larger community.
The Worship Pastor will be the primary leader for all worship services of the church. The Worship Pastor will be a key member of Grace’s staff team with the responsibilities of planning, developing, overseeing and evaluating all components of the Worship
Ministry. He will work with the Senior Pastor and other leadership to coordinate all facets of the Worship Ministry in conjunction with overall ministry goals and objectives for the church. Included in his responsibilities will be recruiting, developing and
evaluating volunteers for choir, band, praise team, audio/video, and tech teams.
The Worship Pastor will be responsible for regular planning meetings with the Senior Pastor, staff and volunteer leaders and will be responsible for preparing and administering the Worship Ministry Budget within the parameters provided by the Senior Pastor,
Deacons and Stewardship Team.
