South Delta Baptist Church

 

 

Position Summary

South Delta Baptist Church, a missional church in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, with a focus on compassion ministries, global missions initiatives, and church planting seeks a Community Pastor to help connect a healthy and growing congregation of 6-800. This man will creatively forge a pathway leading to spiritual maturity for those within the age range of young-adult to middle-aged.

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Gifting

  • He will be a man of strong relational skill
  • He will exhibit experience creating, implementing, and managing assimilation and small groups within a local church
  • He will have experience creating, implementing and managing Christian Education programs within a local church
  • He will exhibit skills regarding recruiting and successfully coaching a team of volunteers
  • He will be a man that exhibits a deep and abiding relationship with Christ
  • He will exhibit a strong devotional life
  • He will meet elder qualifications put forth in 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus
  • Experience working in a multi-staff environment is preferred
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical, theological, or religious studies is preferred

 

Salary

Commensurate with Experience
