This is a part-time position that reports to the senior pastor, currently estimated at 10–12 hours per week for a man of true Christian character and sound in faith and doctrine.
Our worship is contemporary in style and we also appreciate the theologically rich classic hymns arranged in a contemporary style. We currently have 2 worship bands and we are looking for someone to lead and oversee these bands, as well as oversee the sound
and multimedia ministry leaders. He must be a skilled vocalist and instrumentalist (guitar or keyboard) and an effective leader of people. He will:
- Plan and administrate all musical elements of two Sunday morning worship services, including preparation of all necessary materials (chord charts, order of worship, special set-up information, etc.) to be distributed to musicians, sound, and multimedia
personnel on a timely basis
- Lead the congregation in worship with an emphasis on drawing them toward authentic expression of love, devotion, gratitude, and appreciation for God – who He is, and what He does.
