- Prepares the next generation to be instrumentalists, singers and worship leaders
- Music evangelizes with the Gospel
- Music ministry should support the overall vision and goals of the church and outreach missions
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or equivalent relevant work experience
2-4 years experience leading music/choir
Advanced music degree from an accredited university, preferred
Will under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, plan, organize and implement the major creative events throughout the year. Shape the design of all worship experiences around the messages and people using music, media, art, video testimonies, readings, drama and other creative elements to lead worship.
Responsibilities also include managing maintenance of and overseeing the coordination of:
Report to the Senior Pastor for program planning and future direction
Agrees with and promotes the sound, biblical theology as preached by the Senior Pastor
Works with ministry teams related to music, drama and worship
Supervise volunteer musicians and vocalist staff
Coordinate with other members of the church staff
