Children's Ministry Pastor

This is your opportunity to be a part of a dynamic young church in south Denver.  Legacy Chapel is an exciting new church with a very talented church Staff and amazing volunteer Leadership Team.  We know that children are extremely important to the Kingdom of God, and not only are they the church of tomorrow; we believe they are the church of today.  We will always place a high value on quality children's ministry.  This is evident in our willingness to fund this ministry with the highest quality resources available.  We want a great fit to our team so we are looking carefully and thoroughly for the right person. We desire an energetic person (preferably a married couple) who is passionate to lead Legacy Chapel's children's ministry called Kids Chapel.

The ideal candidate will be a born again believer with a solid knowledge of God's Word and is not timid to tell others about Jesus and how He captured their heart.  They must have elementary age bible teaching experience, must be a self-starter, motivated to work smart and just busy, understand how to be innovative and resourceful in order to create a life changing children’s ministry.  This person must have passion to see children become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  They must have charisma and rapport with kiddos ages 5 to 12 years old as well as with the parents.  They must have an engaging and likeable personality and are able to hold comfortable conversations with believers and non-believers alike.  This person must possess very strong administrative and organizational skills to lead and direct large scale community outreaches - Egg Hunt, SummerFest, HarvestFest, etc.   This person should have strong leadership skills to build, train, coach, and teach a volunteer team specific to Kids Chapel. 

This position is volunteer to part-time to full time.  If you can prove your ability to lead and build an amazing children's ministry, we are happy to pay you to full time.  Currently the position is 20 hours per week.
