Associate Director of Student Ministries

The Associate Director of Student Ministries shall be employed under the direction of the Staff-Parish Relations Ministry Team and will serve under the guidance, evaluation and supervision of the Director of Student Ministries with support from the Pastor of Grow Ministries and Staff-Parish Relations Ministry Team.  This is a full-time position requiring 37 1/2 hours a week.

General Responsibilities

The Associate Director of Student Ministries will be responsible for assisting in the development of ministries that facilitate spiritual growth for High School and Middle School students within the areas of worship, growth and service.  This ministry will intentionally provide experiences that REACH out to students with the gospel message, teaching and encouraging them to GROW in their relationship with Christ, give them opportunities to follow a path of discipleship, and to serve the Lord and others with their gifts and talents.


  • Developing a presence in the lives of the students through relationship building times (such as school lunches, sporting events, and weekend activities with students)
  • Develop Hub hangout times during the school year and throughout the summer
  • Develop weekly summer activities for MS and HS students
  • Attend all retreats and events for the Student Ministry
  • Assist with Confirmation
  • Create an active presence for the Student Ministry within social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Student Follow-Up
  • Contact students who haven’t attended within a designated amount of time
  • Reach out to students who are sick or have families experiencing sickness or loss
  • Acknowledge student birthdays
  • Follow-up with students who have attended for the first time
  • Lead Sunday morning Bible study for MS students who have yet to commit to a Small Group



  • Assist in the development of yearly MS Serve Trip
  • Assist in the development of HS Mission trip
  • Fundraising for Missions
  • Act as coordinator for serve opportunities for Small Groups
  • Lead youth involvement at Concord Village for summer lunch program, Christmas Shop, Thanksgiving Feast and tutoring
  • Assist in coordination of HS and MS group service opportunities throughout the year



  • Part of the teaching rotation for MS and HS worship on Sunday evenings
  • Help with creation of new worship environments
  • Assist in the development of teaching series
