Evangelical Free Church of Diamond Bar

JUNIOR HIGH DIRECTOR

The Evangelical Free Church of Diamond Bar is seeking a qualified person to lead and expand ministries to Junior High age students and families.

Responsibilities include:

1. Direct and expand the Junior High ministry in our church and community.
2. Facilitate Sunday morning and Wednesday night Junior High Ministry programs.
3. Develop and deliver lessons, lead small groups, and disciple individuals.
4. Plan and facilitate monthly outreach events.
5. Attend winter and summer camps.
6. Meet with Junior High small group leaders on a monthly basis.
7. Strengthen the link between Children’s Ministry, Junior High and High School Ministry.
8. Work in cooperation with other members of the church staff and leadership.
9. Work under the supervision of the Youth Pastor.

Qualifications: This person should be able to relate to the needs and interests of Junior High age students and their families. Experience is preferred in the area of Youth Ministry. Seminary education is preferred.

Salary and Benefits: This is a part-time position. Salary will be determined based on education and experience starting at $1,000 a month. Hours per week are negotiable between 12-15.
