Job Description for:
Part-time Director of Music

Our desire is to have a music ministry that is spiritually grounded, focused, dynamic, and life changing. Music is a tool for leading people to Christ, for discipling individuals and strengthening their faith, for helping them experience true worship, and for glorifying God. Our goal is not performance, but to bring glory to God and be used by God to make deeply committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Our music ministry is an opportunity for those people involved in the music program to experience ministry and community while growing in their faith. Our vision is for music to be one of the hallmarks of this congregation.

To develop, direct, and, in consultation with the senior pastor and Worship Design Team member, lead blended worship for Emmanuel United Methodist Church, in a way that is consistent with EUMC’s mission, values, and theology.
