Paradise Alliance Church
Pastor of Ministry to Senior Adults
Purpose: To oversee and develop the Senior Adult Ministries of Paradise Alliance Church.
1. Must meet the qualifications of a spiritual leader as listed in I Timothy 3 & Titus 1.
2. Must have at least five (5) years experience in the area of Senior Adult Ministries
or demonstrate sufficient aptitude to be proficient in Senior Adult Ministries.
3. Masters Degree preferred, relating to practical aspects of Senior Adult Ministries
or general ministry.
4. Must be committed to the purposes, philosophies and ministries of Paradise CMA
and the Christian and Missionary Alliance of America.
Discipleship and Shepherding:
1. Develop/coordinate/implement Sunday morning Classic service.
2. Develop/implement Bible study opportunities for both large and small groups during the
day and evening
3. Oversee and develop shepherding ministries to senior adults to include but not limited to:
• Counseling
• Visitation to homes, hospitals, convalescent and rest homes.
• Funerals
• Single Women Fellowship
• People Enjoying People (PEP)and Paradise Active Campers (PAC)
• All church Benevolence Ministry.
1. Develop and implement “intentional” outreach opportunities targeting the un-churched
senior population.
2. Develop and provide training for community service involvement.
4. Develop short term missions and work trips both in the United States and out of the
