Tung Chung Church Statement of Faith
- The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).
- There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:3-14).
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His return to earth
in power and glory (John 1:14, Romans 3:24-26, John 20:25-27, 1 John 2:1).
- Salvation can only be obtained through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and through the Holy Spirit we are led to follow Christ (Romans 5:5).
- There will be a judgment of sins, and those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity with Him and those who do not believe will be cast into an eternity of Hell (Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21).
- We believe in the spiritual unity among believers through a deep love in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:23, 1 Peter 1:22).
- Our message should be for the modern culture but not influenced by the world (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).
